HE MERCIFUL LORD
The Woman perplexed stood
She was in adultery caught
Accusers to stone her brought
In front of Jesus her to judge
It was a trap they planned
But the trap miserably broke

Jesus asked if anybody there
Non guilty,throw the stone first
The Lord bent down and wrote
All those adulterers silently left.
Jesus raised his head sought
Shame! saw there nobody left!

Daughter,go in peace,said he
Commit not sin any more!
What a merciful Lord he is!
He came to punish man not
But him to repentence lead!

ALONE

Alone in the desert the dry winds blowing
How will the helpless man keep going?
The cry of the heart sounds aloud
No answer from anywhere heard!

Is this not often the experience of man
Who lives even among the crowd of men ?
He has friends and relatives everywhere
But none in the times of crisis near!

But why should you be disheartened
When you are in your redeemer's heart
He is so close to you ,He listens to you
He stretches his hands to embrace you!

Look at the cross on Mount Calvary !
Is it not the revelation of his love for you?
Why should you then be worried, my child,
Your saviour who died for you will care you!
